Location

The Bures Music Festival takes place at the Recreation Ground adjacent to The Bures Community Center in Bures St Mary, situated on the Suffolk Essex border.

Approximately 5 miles South of Sudbury and 10 miles north of Colchester, the village is easily reached by rail connecting to the mainline London to Norwich service, via Marks Tey. 

There is a regular bus running from Colchester through Bures to Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds.
