The Bures Music Festival, incorporating Jazz by The Stour, is an annual music event held in a marquee in the picturesque village of Bures on the Essex & Suffolk Borders. The original Sunday event 'Jazz by the Stour' is now supported & proceeded by four nights of top musical performances spanning the genres from Soul, Blues, Swing, Rock 'n Roll & Choral as well as our very own young musicians showcase.

The Festival MarqueeThe Festival is a non profit making event, run by volunteers, with all proceeds being donated to local charities.

Our main Beneficiaries are St Helena Hospice & Ferriers Barn Handicapped Center, but we welcome requests from other local charities in need of support.
